Notes: The MG model TD was produced from 1950 to 1954 by the MG Car
Company in
Abingdon, Enland. Only 4767 MGTD's were produced in 1950 and production
records show only 142 American left hand drive models were recorded
as exports. The MG Car Company in 1950's were both the new and the old.
The body was the old technalogy with wood framing. The company was interested
in rasing and the cars rack and pinion steering,high performance four
cylinder 1250 cc racing engine and the duel carbs made the TD a drivers
dream.

Notes: Manufactured in England this high performance sports car has
four speed
stick, rack and pinion steering,race-honed suspension and a race-proven
1798cc engine. This sports car classic was purchased from a junk yard
and totally restored frame up in 1992 by Tom. In 1998 this MGB held
the Class E American National Sports Car Competition Championship. One
of the first foreign cars to hold the title. Because of this title,
Tom traveled to many British car show events, including to England and
Ireland were he appeared on international TV. Tom joined the Walton
Cruisers as soon as the club begain and many members know him as Paster
Tom. Paster Tom restored this car for his wife who drove it proudly
until she journeyed to be with the Lord in 2003.
